When Spatter Shield™, the welding accessory kit is utilised within optimum parameters, Spatter Shield™ can extend the life of the torch nozzle by up to 4.5 times, and the contact tip by up to 6 times.

The Spatter Shield™ welding accessory kit consists of 2 components, a probe and a fluid dispenser, and fits into the existing system. The fluid is compatible with: CO2 , Argon, Argon Based Mixtures, Helium, Hydrogen and is suitable for: Carbon Steel, Galvanised Steel, Stainless Steel, Cast Iron, Silicon Bronze Welding and Hard Facing.

The system can be pre set to different customer requirements to meet varying diffusible hydrogen levels. Applicable standards are H5, H10, H15.
